The Garden Grove Police Department is proud to offer free bicycle helmets to children in our community who need them. Safety should never be out of reach, and this program makes sure it isn't.

Who Qualifies?

  • Bicycle riders under 18 years of age
  • Residents of Garden Grove

What You'll Receive

Every participant receives a properly fitted helmet along with education on bicycle safety to help riders stay protected every time they ride.

About the Helmet

Helmets distributed through this program are the Model 36 Turn Ring Multi-Sport Style and meet the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Bicycle Helmet Safety Standard

Fill out the short request form below to get started. A member of the Garden Grove PD will follow up with you to arrange helmet pickup or delivery.
