Welcome to the Garden Grove Police Department's Citizens Online Crime Reporting System. The Online Crime Reporting System is designed to make it easier and more convenient to file a police report without leaving home, however not every crime can be reported using this online system.
Not all incidents can be filed online. If your incident is not listed in the category selection list, call the Garden Grove Police Department at (714) 741-5704 for non-emergencies. If this is an Emergency please dial 9-1-1 immediately, If a crime is in progress or someone is hurt, threatened, or in danger, DIAL 9-1-1 IMMEDIATELY.
Incident Type
There are several different incident types that can be submitted online. Please select one from the following items. If the incident you are reporting has a known suspect, you should instead call us.

Willful disobedience of custody terms outlined in a court order. Exchange of child(ren) did not occur as required per court order. This form is for minimal violations of the court order. Do Not Use for Missing Child, Child Abduction, or Restraining Order Violation cases. The violation must have occurred within the Garden Grove city limits to file this report.

Unauthorized use of credit card information for the purpose of charging purchases to the account or removing funds from it.

This category is for documentation of incidents which are not necessarily a crime or are more of a civil dispute in nature. Reports filed under this category will be destroyed in 2 years and will NOT be forwarded to, or reviewed by, a detective - no further action will be taken.

Unwanted phone calls, texts, or by means of an electronic communications device of an annoying, harassing or threatening nature.

When one or more parties flees the scene of a minor traffic collision with vehicle or property damage and no injuries, without providing required driver, vehicle and insurance information.

Someone uses a trick or scam or tries to cheat you to acquire monetary payment.

When property is missing or lost, Not Stolen.

When two or more vehicles are involved in a minor traffic collision with no injuries, have sustained vehicle damage and all parties have exchanged information.

Used to provide additional information that was not available at the time of your original police report which was filed in person or over the phone.

When property is taken without your permission. This does not include someone physically taking something from your person.

Due to a specific traffic related problem or situation, extra traffic enforcement requested.

The act of changing, modifying or defacing public or private property.

Tampering with a Motor vehicle. Damaging or defacing vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, RV’s, etc.) by maliciously breaking windows, dents, scratches, paint damage, etc.

Property or belongings are stolen from interior or exterior of your locked vehicle. If you believe there may be fingerprints, blood or other physical evidence to be collected please call us at (714) 741-5704 to have an officer respond. Do not report the crime online.
