The City of Garden Grove is pleased to welcome ten high school students from Anyang, Republic of Korea, as part of the Sister City Association of Garden Grove’s Student Exchange Program.

On January 30, 2026, the Garden Grove Police Department will conduct a driving under the influence (DUI) Checkpoint from 8:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location.

On Saturday, December 20, 2025, various streets in Garden Grove will be temporarily closed for the King Shocks Toy Drive community event. The streets surrounding the perimeter of King Shocks, located at 12472 Edison Way, will be closed from 3:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 20.
