    On Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., or until supplies run out, the City of Garden Grove and Republic Services will host the annual Compost Giveaway, offering residents up to six bags of nutrient-rich compost for free.

    This Friday, February 13, 2026, at 6:00 a.m., a portion of Historic Main Street, from north of The Gem Theatre (12852 Main Street) to Stanford Avenue, will be closed for the Flower Street on Historic Main Street event. The closure will remain in effect until 4:00 a.m.
