The Garden Grove Police Department (GGPD) invites the community to its annual National Night Out, a free community-building event featuring family activities, giveaways, live demonstrations, and raffle prizes, on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The celebration will also mark the final event held in front of the current Garden Grove Police Headquarters, located at 11301 Acacia Parkway.

Event attendees can meet Garden Grove officers, crime prevention officers, and GGPD’s support canines, as well as participate in contests. Other activities include public safety demonstrations by the Neighborhood Traffic Unit and the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) unit. Attendees will also learn about neighborhood watch programs and how to get involved with GGPD’s Community Liaison Division.

Parking will be available at the following locations:
• Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Avenue
• Garden Grove High School, 11271 Stanford Avenue
• Healthy Aging Center Acacia, 11391 Acacia Parkway
• First Baptist Church, 12761 Euclid Street
• SteelCraft Garden Grove, 12900 S Euclid Street

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the following streets will be closed to traffic and “No Parking” will be enforced from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. for the event.
• Civic Center Drive, from Acacia Parkway to Garden Grove Boulevard
• Acacia Parkway, from 7th Street to Garden Grove City Hall, located at 11222 Acacia Parkway
