Safety Element Update and Preparation of an Environmental Justice Element
The City of Garden Grove is requesting proposals from qualified Consultants to update the Safety Element and to prepare an Environmental Justice Element to the City’s General Plan pursuant to Government Code § 65302(g) and (h). The Consultant will also be responsible for preparing the documentation required to comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

The City of Garden Grove has issued an Addendum #1 to the RFP released on March 6, 2020 for the Safety Element Update and Preparation of an Environmental Justice Element extending the submittal deadline and modifying the submittal instructions in response to the updated policy on gatherings recently issued by the California Department of Public Health and Governor Gavin Newsom intended to protect public health and slow the spread of COVID-19.
The new deadline to respond to the RFP is Monday, April 20, 2020 by 5:00 P.M.
All RFP proposals must be submitted electronically, and with the required eight (8) hard copies mailed concurrently to the City of Garden Grove, as stipulated in the RFP.
