The Downtown Commission is an advisory commission for proposed building design plans and site plans in conformance with the regulations and criteria for the Main Street Historical-Retail Combining Zone. The Commission also works to ensure that the revitalized and restored buildings are maintained, and advises the City Council regarding the levy of annual assessments for the Main Street Assessment District No. 1 (GGMC 2.32.090).
