On Friday, January 24, 2025 at 9:00 p.m., Historic Main Street will close and remain closed through 9:00 a.m. on Monday, January 27, 2025, for the Flower Street event. Parking on Historic Main Street will be restricted during that time.

In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday, Garden Grove City Hall and the H. Louis Lake Senior Center will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025. Street sweeping services will not be provided on the holiday, and will resume the next day. Trash pick-up will not be interrupted.

The application period for the City of Garden Grove’s Home Repair Program closes on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. The grant program assists qualified low-income Garden Grove residents receive up to $5,000 for minor home improvements.

On December 20, the Garden Grove Police Department will conduct a driving under the influence (DUI) Checkpoint from 9:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. at an undisclosed location.
