The Garden Grove Police Department invites you to a safe, socially distanced National Night Out 2020. Join us as we introduce you to some of our officers and specialized units within the GGPD. The City of Garden Grove has participated in National Night Out for many years. The event is celebrated across the country on the first Tuesday of August. It is an opportunity for neighbors to meet and talk with the Officers of the Garden Grove Police Department about things that are happening in their neighborhood. Garden Grove's Community Emergency Response Team, better known as CERT was sworn-in recently and is ready to help City residents and businesses when the need arises. This is a group of dedicated, trained volunteers who give their time to help others under the direction of the Garden Grove Police Department. GGTV3 Reporter Breanna Greenup has the story.

With COVID-19 coronavirus cases rising in Orange County, the City of Garden Grove will move back to the relative safety of teleconferencing for the July 14th City Council Meeting. The public is encouraged to participate by emailing questions or comments to the Garden Grove City Clerk. A small number of people will be accommodated with social distancing at the Council Chambers.
