Garden Grove Medal of Honor Bike and Pedestrian Trail
If you like to walk, bike, skate, skip or just enjoy the sights outdoors, the City of Garden Grove has the place for you. It's the Medal of Honor Bike and Pedestrian Trail. 363 trees were planted along the one-mile stretch as part of the City of Garden Grove's 40-Year Urban Forest Management Plan. Garden Grove's Gardenia by Shea Homes
The City of Garden Grove and new home builder Shea Homes celebrated the successful completion of their latest housing community, Gardenia by Shea Homes. A small, safe, socially distanced ceremony was held in the development's interior park. The 70 single-family homes sold out quickly leading up to December, 2020. The homes are on a 9-acre site near the 22 Freeway and Lewis Street which was formerly the home of St. Callistus Church and later Shepherd’s Grove Church. Cody Gets His Wish on Garden Grove's Main Street
Cody Garling took ownership of a new custom pickup truck in a dramatic Make-A-Wish reveal on Garden Grove's Historic Main Street. Cody, who fought leukemia with the help of his brother's stem cells is feeling good. He says he is thankful for all of those who have been supporting him in his fight and to those who contributed to the sweet blue Chevy truck he received. GGTV3 reporter Breanna Greenup has the story.
Winter in the Grove Drive-Through Edition 2020
Garden Grove residents and others from the local community were treated to a winter wonderland at Village Green Park recently. Garden Grove's Community Services Department, with the help of some creative elves, turned the park into a safe, socially distanced drive-through holiday party. The sold out event was a hit with the kids and keeps the Winter in the Grove tradition alive in the City during this very different holiday season.
