NO Illegal Fireworks in Garden Grove

The City of Garden Grove wants you and your family to have a great 4th of July, but they want you and your neighbors to be safe. If you have a fireworks celebration, use the safe and sane variety which are approved by the California State Fire Marshal and are for sale locally. Please don't use dangerous unapproved fireworks. The Garden Grove Police Department's Special Resources Team or SRTs are working to get homeless people the help they need. Virtual Garden Grove College Graduates' Reception - Class of 2021

The City of Garden Grove values education and honors college graduates with a special reception. This year it was the 2021 Virtual Garden Grove College Graduates' Reception. The event was held on Friday, May 14th, emceed by Spectrum Multimedia Journalist, Vicky Nguyen, who interned with GGTV3 early in her television career. Mayor Steve Jones congratulated the grads virtually on behalf of Garden Grove City Council Members. In all, 27 graduates were honored at the event. Mural Clean Up in Garden Grove's Palma Vista Neighborhood

The City of Garden Grove will not tolerate graffiti. On a sunny Saturday afternoon, Garden Grove Police Officers joined community members and elected officials scrubbing graffiti off a neighborhood mural in the Palma Vista neighborhood. In a short time the painting, created by local artists, was nearly good-as-new. GGTV3 Reporter Breanna Greenup rolls up her sleeves and shows us how it's done.

Drive-Through Eggscavation in Garden Grove (2021)

Running through fields, baskets in hand, searching high and low for plastic eggs filled with candy and treasures. Kids of all ages love these springtime Easter Egg Hunts and parents enjoy watching. The City of Garden Grove was not about to cancel their well-known Eggscavation because of COVID-19. The City's Community Services Department along with the Garden Grove Police Department and the OC Fire Authority joined forces to create Eggscavation, Drive-Through Style!
