Garden Grove College Graduates Class of 2020
Graduating from college is big! The City of Garden Grove congratulates and celebrates you, the 2020 college graduates from our City. It's unfortunate that this year's College Grad Reception had to be cancelled because of the COVID-19 Coronavirus, but we are not going to let that stop us (or hopefully you) from celebrating! Here is a tribute to the 2020 College Graduates of Garden Grove.
Community Action Partnership of Orange County
The Community Action Partnership of Orange County or CAPOC is an organization in the City of Garden Grove that helps people. GGTV3's Reporter Breanna Greenup remotely caught up with a busy Gregory C. Scott, President and CEO of CAPOC to find out what they are doing for the community. The answer is food, senior assistance, financial empowerment, family resource centers, getting an accurate count for the Census and much, much more.
30th Annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Parade (May 28th, 1988)
It was a simpler time in 1988. No TSA checks to get on a flight, no pressure to post on Instagram and rarely would you see someone wearing a mask. Please join GGTV3 as we dust off a treasure from our archives and take you on a trip on our way-back-machine to May 28th, 1988 and the 30th Annual Strawberry Festival Parade. This is a production of KHJ TV, a Disney owned station that later became KCAL- 9. The Parade is hosted by Sally Struthers and Tristan Rogers and features a very different Garden Grove than we know today. Enjoy!
