Youth Volunteers

Youth ages 11–16 who are strong swimmers are invited to volunteer as assistants in our swim lesson program. Volunteers work alongside our American Red Cross certified Water Safety Instructors to help create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment for participants while gaining valuable leadership and teaching experience.

How to Apply

1. Complete the Swim Lesson Volunteer Application. You can download and print the application below or pick up a copy at any of our pool locations.
2. Return the completed application to your preferred pool office or the Recreation Front Desk at Garden Grove City Hall (11222 Acacia Pkwy, Garden Grove, 92840)
3. Once your application has been reviewed, a pool manager will contact you to discuss the program and schedule your volunteer hours.
