Pool Rules

  1. Adult supervision is required for children under the age of 12.
  2. Use the restrooms before entering the pool.
  3. Please shower before entering the pool.
  4. Proper swimwear must be worn in the pool.
  5. No diving in water less than 9 feet.
  6. No running or rough play.
  7. No food, alcohol, tobacco, or glass may be brought into the pool area.
  8. No inflatable life vests or inflatable flotation devices.
  9. No items may be taken into the pool that could hinder lifeguards' view of the entire pool.
  10. Persons under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted in the pool area.
  11. No animals or pets are allowed in the pool area.
  12. Lifeguards have the authority to prohibit or remove any toy, flotation device, or other item deemed unsafe or that interferes with safe pool operations.
  13. Anyone with a contagious illness, open wound, or bandage should not enter the pool.
  14. Children who are not toilet trained must wear a properly fitted swim diaper.
  15. Hanging on lane lines, safety ropes, or other pool equipment is prohibited.
  16. The pool may be cleared or closed at any time due to weather, emergencies, or unsafe conditions.

Lap Swim Rules

  1. Lap swimmers must be at least 15 years of age.
  2. Lap lanes are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  3. Choose a lane that matches your swimming speed.
  4. Before entering a lane, alert the swimmer(s) already using it and agree on whether to split or circle swim.
  5. Two swimmers: Split the lane or circle swim by mutual agreement.
  6. Three or more swimmers: Circle swim is required. Swim on the right side of the lane in a counterclockwise pattern.
  7. If a faster swimmer catches up to you, allow them to pass at the wall by pausing briefly in the corner of the lane. Avoid stopping in the middle of the lane.
  8. Take rest breaks only at the ends of the lane and move to the corner of the wall so you do not block other swimmers.
  9. Lifeguards may assign or reassign lanes to accommodate attendance and ensure safe pool operations.
