Jack O' Lantern Jamboree

Families are invited to attend the annual Jack O' Lantern Jamboree, a Halloween-themed community event. Activities include train rides, bounce houses, crafts, airbrush tattoos, a pumpkin patch, petting zoo and reptile show. Costumes are encouraged.

Children, ages 3-13, will have the opportunity to select a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, and receive a decorating kit. All attendees will have access to event activities and Halloween candy.

Pre-registration is required. Tickets go on sale next Monday, October 11 through Friday, October 29, or until quantities run out.

Garden Grove Compost Giveaway

The City and Republic Services will be giving away FREE compost to Garden Grove residents to say thank you for participating in our green waste recycling program.

A limit of 60-gallons per household while supplies last. Please bring your I.D. and residents should expect long lines.

This free course will provide the information and tactics you need to know if you are in danger from an active threat. Learn how to stay safe, protect your family, and get an update on legislation that could impact public safety.

Networking Mixer

The City of Garden Grove, the Orange County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with SteelCraft Garden Grove, invite you to a networking mixer which will be playing the Rams vs. Seahawks football game. Come meet new people and enjoy the game!

Thomas House Family Shelter Celebrates 35 Years of Empowerment To Benefit Homeless and At-Risk Families

Thomas House Family Shelter is hosting its annual Autumn Reflections Gala, celebrating 35 years of service to the community, which will benefit the at-risk families and children in Orange County that Thomas House Shelter continually works to support. This year's The Autumn Reflections Gala, themed "35 Years of Empowerment," will be virtual and held on Saturday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m.
