Focused Zoning Amendments - Planning Commission Study Session
The community is encouraged to attend Garden Grove study sessions to learn about the proposed draft Focus Zoning Amendments relating to development standards for single-family residential, multi-family residential, mixed-use, supportive housing, and single room occupancy housing.
The Planning Commission Study Session is on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., and the Garden Grove City Council Study Session is on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Both public meetings will be held at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue.

Filing Period for November Elections
Beginning Monday, July 18, 2022, the City of Garden Grove will be accepting nomination papers for Mayor, and three Council Member seats for Districts 1, 3, and 4, for the November 8, 2022 election. The deadline to file the completed paperwork is Friday, August 12, 2022, at 5:00 p.m.

National Mosquito Awareness Week
During National Mosquito Control Awareness Week, June 19-25, OCMVCD is launching the Tip, Toss, Take Action campaign and promoting Grandmother Mosquito, a new children’s book teaching families about mosquito breeding.
