There is always something new and exciting going on in the City of Garden Grove! Recently Gente Market held its Grand Opening on Garden Grove's Historic Main Street. The store carries items from a variety of local artists. Across town on Harbor Boulevard, Raising Cane's cut the ceremonial ribbon and opened a brand new restaurant. Raising Cane's specializes in an irresistible combination of chicken fingers and fries with Texas toast and ice tea. GGTV3 Reporter Breanna Greenup checked out these new additions to the City, and shares the stories. And organics recycling is coming.

Separating and recycling your kitchen scraps is good for the environment. Now with California's Senate Bill 1383, communities are required to participate. Help Republic Services, the City of Garden Grove and the Earth by collecting kitchen scraps in your brown container along with the leaves and grass from your yard. Republic Services will take care of the rest. Please watch this video for more information.

The City of Garden Grove welcomes Raising Cane's to our City! We found that Raising Cane's has great chicken, but we dug deeper and also learned a little about the history of this fast food chain that is growing fast. GGTV3 Reporter Breanna Greenup has this tasty treat with a backstory. And don't always just drive through! Stop in and enjoy the inside of a Raising Cane's!

For over 20 years, the annual Garden Grove Holiday Drive has worked to bring joy, hope, and spirit to local children and their families during the holiday season. Through the collaboration between the Buena Clinton Youth and Family Center, Magnolia Park Family Resource Center, and other partnering organizations, businesses, and residents, approximately 1,000 local children have the opportunity to unwrap a gift.
