The City of Garden Grove Welcomes Ursula Luna-Reynosa
The City of Garden Grove held a welcome reception for Ursula Luna-Reynosa, introducing her as the new Economic Development Director. The reception was held at the City's Community Meeting Center. The Economic Development Director is responsible for attracting investment and creating wealth in the City. She will also oversee the Garden Grove Housing Authority and Neighborhood Improvement Division. GGTV3 reporter Angela Cranon was at the reception and has the story.
Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Gives Back News Story 2023
On Memorial Day Weekends in the City of Garden Grove thoughts turn to strawberries. That's because the annual Strawberry Festival takes over Village Green Park and surrounding areas. The long weekend features a gigantic strawberry cake, a Saturday parade, concerts, rides, contests, food and a lot of strawberries. The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival Association Directors volunteer their time to put it all together and the results are a big benefit to the community. GGTV3 Reporter Angela Cranon has the story.
Garden Grove Water Rate Study 2023 & Public Hearings
Water is our most precious resource. We need it to live and we expect it to flow when we turn on the tap. The cost of pumping, treating and delivering water to our homes and businesses is going up like everything else. A water rate study has determined that the City of Garden Grove will need to raise the price of water slightly in order to cover the costs. You can speak on the subject or ask questions at public hearings to be held in the Garden Grove City Council Chambers on November 28th and December 12th. City of Garden Grove Welcomes New Community Development Director
The City of Garden Grove welcomes Niki Wetzel as our new Community Development Director. A reception was held at the City's Community Meeting Center. The day was also Niki's parents' 64th Wedding Anniversary which added to the excitement. The Community Development Director is responsible for planning, building and code enforcement as well as other important areas of city administration.
