The City of Garden Grove cut the ribbon on a beautiful new, citrus themed playground in Magnolia Park. Local kids and families scrambled to try out the new features which include an ADA accessible swing set, an orbital spinner, spiral slides and colorful play structures to climb. The renovations which include exercise equipment and a covered picnic shelter were funded with a California Proposition 68 Per Capita Grant. The remodeled recreation area has historical significance, built on property which was home to the Ernest Wakeham family. The history can be revisited through QR codes found on the park signage. GGTV3 Correspondent Jennifer Goddard was there and files this report.
