Community Shred-It Event
Have you been spring cleaning? Let us help you dispose of your sensitive documents the safe way. An industrial paper shredder will be on-site at Dimond & Shannon. No reservations required. Just come by with the documents you need shredded. This is a free event. Popcorn and root beer floats will be served to all those who stop by!

The Library Writer’s Circle is a share-and-feedback group that meets the 1st Saturday and 3rd Tuesday of the month.
The group is currently meeting virtually via Zoom.

Grab & Go Meals
Every Tuesday through Friday, Garden Grove’s local libraries are providing free summer meals to children and teens, ages 18 and over.
Two Garden Grove library branches are hosting the program:

- Garden Grove Chapman - 9182 Chapman Ave
Registration is not required. Walk-ups are welcome.
Kindergarten Readiness Nutrition Program
Every Wednesday, from June 16 through July 14, Garden Grove's local libraries are offering the Kindergarten Readiness Nutrition Program, a nutrition series promoting healthy eating for kindergartens, ages 4-6. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend for a story time activity and weekly recipes.
Two Garden Grove library branches are hosting the program:

Local seniors are invited to learn about scam protection and prevention by attending the virtual Senior Protection Program presentation, hosted by the Orange County Council on Aging.
