Take Out Tuesday at Marie Callender's
The community is invited to participate in "Take Out Tuesday" at Marie Callender's, hosted by the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce's Women's Division and Community Affairs Committee. Marie Callender's will donate 10% of purchases to help fund scholarships awarded to the Garden Grove Unified School District's graduating seniors.
*To participate, individuals must show the flyer or mention the "Take Out Tuesday" initiative.
NO Illegal Fireworks in Garden Grove
The City of Garden Grove wants you and your family to have a great 4th of July, but they want you and your neighbors to be safe. If you have a fireworks celebration, use the safe and sane variety which are approved by the California State Fire Marshal and are for sale locally. Please don't use dangerous unapproved fireworks. If you do, you could receive a $1,000 fine. This mission is possible Garden Grove, have fun and be safe! Special thanks to TNT Fireworks.
City's Free Outdoor Movie Series
The City of Garden Grove’s free Outdoor Movie Series begins on Thursday, June 17, 2021 with the showing of a 1995 American adventure and fantasy film, “Jumanji” (PG). The movie will begin at 8:30 p.m., at Garden Grove Park, located at 9301 Westminster Boulevard.
Gates will open at 7:30 p.m., and spaces will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Event attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Movie snacks and treats will be available for purchase.

Book discussion group meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Headlines with Mayor Steve Jones - June 3, 2021
In this Headlines, Garden Grove Mayor Steve Jones talks about homelessness. The City of Garden Grove cares about homeless people as well as homeowners and businesses. The Garden Grove Police Department's Special Resources Team or SRTs are working to get homeless people the help they need. Mayor Jones talks about four additional videos he has made along with the City's Community and Economic Development Department addressing some of the programs designed to make things better for all.
