Garden Grove Loves CERT!
CERT is the Community Emergency Response Team. They help police, firefighters, first-responders and us when there is a disaster. The City of Garden Grove cares about our neighborhoods! When one of these neighborhoods needs a little help, residents, volunteers, City employees and the Garden Grove Police Department are there to lend a hand. And Republic Services brought in a few big containers to haul off bulky items that were no longer needed. GGTV3 Reporter Breanna Greenup has the story. Plus, in Garden Grove we have established ourselves as a foodie destination. Now it looks like the City is also the place to go for coffee, tea and lots of other specialty beverages! Garden Grove Teen Action Collaborative Career Building Workshop Series
The City’s Garden Grove Teen Action Collaborative (GGTAC), in partnership with the Employment Development Department’s Youth Employment Opportunity Program (YEOP), invites local teens, ages 13-17, to attend a free Career Building Workshop Series, aimed at helping local youth prepare for job and career opportunities!
The workshop dates and topics are:
City Hall In-Person Lobby Services Relocated During Construction
City Hall lobby will be closed during an 8-month construction project, beginning Monday, January 31, 2022 through October 2022.
Front counter services will be available at the building west of City Hall at 12860 Euclid Street, which include business license, cashiering, and water payment services.

Quilts in the Garden
Over 100 beautiful quilts will be hung on the manicured grounds of Kiwanisland park. There will be opportunity baskets, a quilters garage sale with thousands of fantastic deals and fun games of Left, Center, Right where you can win handfuls of curated fat quarters.
The Orange County Quilters Guild, one of Southern California’s oldest guilds, is an educational and philanthropic organization. Every year they donate hundred of handmade quilts to various children's foundations and military veterans. This event will supports their philanthropic efforts.
