Disaster Preparedness Training
The City of Garden Grove’s Community Emergency Response Team will host a free 20-hour workshop to train individuals to prepare for and recover from disasters, as well as learn various life-saving skills.
The program will be held over two weekends, on Friday, February 3 through Saturday, February 4, and Friday, February 10 through Saturday, February 11. Class will meet from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on each Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both Saturdays.
Lunar New Year Festival
Celebrate the Year of the Rabbit with SteelCraft Garden Grove and Hiroline.co at the Lunar New Year Festival!
The FREE event will feature lion dancers, drummers, singers, magicians, a pop-up market, car show and more!

Flower Street on Historic Main Street
Save the date for the inaugural Flower Street event on Historic Main Street, a Lunar New Year celebration. Historic Main Street will be transformed with elaborate flower installations and unique artwork. The event is free and will feature lion dances, local musical performances, and vendors from the Garden Grove Farmers Market.
Elvis Festival in Garden Grove!
The King of Rock and Roll had people all shook up on Garden Grove's Historic Main Street recently. Everywhere you looked, there was another Elvis. They were singing, dancing, posing and even barking. The 22nd Annual Elvis Festival was a feast for the Elvis lover and likely converted some new fans for the legendary singer and actor. GGTV3 Reporter Breanna Greenup laced-up her blue suede shoes for the event and shares this story.
Organics Recycling: What Happens After Pickup?
Your kitchen scraps can overload our landfills or they can become part of the next generation of fruits, vegetables, trees and flowers. Garden Grove Fair Housing Workshop
The community is invited to attend the free Garden Grove Fair Housing Workshop, hosted by the Fair Housing Foundation, on Wednesday, January 18, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., located in Garden Grove City Hall, at 11222 Acacia Parkway.
Learn about fair housing laws; your rights and responsibilities as tenants and landlords; and more!
Reservations are required. Attendees must check in at the information desk located on the 1st floor of City Hall.
