Community Invited to Art in the Park Saturday
The City of Garden Grove and the Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD), will transform Village Green Park into an outdoor, interactive art festival for the 6th Annual Art in the Park. The community is invited to attend the free event on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at 12732 Main Street.
New Art in the Park Activities Added
The City of Garden Grove announces new activities added to the 6th Annual Art in the Park, an outdoor, interactive art festival taking place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Village Green Park, located at 12732 Main Street.
Activities added include flowerpot painting, giant outdoor games, a LEGO® Creation Station, and Paint and Sip, an outdoor painting experience with non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages provided.
64th Annual Garden Grove Strawberry Festival
The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival returns during this year’s Memorial Day weekend, May 24, 2024, to May 27, 2024, at Village Green Park, located at 12732 Main Street. Admission to the festival is FREE and open to the public. The annual event will feature a wide variety of activities, live music, contests, vendors, and more!

Art in the Park Returns in March
On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Village Green Park will be transformed into an outdoor, interactive art festival for the 6th Annual Art in the Park. Hosted by the City of Garden Grove and Garden Grove Unified School District (GGUSD), the free event will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at 12732 Main Street.
Event activities include ceramics demonstrations, live graphic designing, ukulele lessons, do-it-yourself craft activities, and the Art Car, an opportunity to paint on a classic car.
Flower Street on Historic Main
Historic Main Street in Garden Grove will come alive with song, dance, and vibrant floral displays with the second annual Flower Street festival. The free two-day celebration will feature lion dances, folk games, a flower fashion show, and more.
Zlaket's Market Plaque Dedication
Please join us as we commemorate Zlaket's Market and the Zlaket Family's significant contribution to Garden Grove. The Downtown Commission will host an unveiling ceremony to dedicate a plaque to be displayed where Zlaket's Market stood for 87 years.
