Foods of Garden Grove - Live
The City of Garden Grove presents Foods of Garden Grove Live, a first-time tasting event featuring an international selection of the city’s most acclaimed and customer-favored food and drink eateries. The event also includes live music, headliner to be announced, at the Garden Amp on Historic Main Street. Admission to the event and concert are free with tickets needed for the food tastings.
"Grease" at Garden Grove's Free Outdoor Movie Series August 9
The City of Garden Grove closes out its 2024 Outdoor Movie Series with a free showing of “Grease,” on Friday, August 9, 2024, on Historic Main Street, from Garden Grove Boulevard to Acacia Parkway. Historic Main Street will be closed for the Friday Night Car Show, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the movie will begin at 8:30 p.m. Historic Main Street will be accessible to pedestrians, and businesses will remain open.
Free Bulky Item Drop-Off at Ralston Intermediate
On Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., the City of Garden Grove and Garden Grove Sanitary District, in collaboration with Republic Services, will host a community cleanup day, offering residents the opportunity to dispose of bulky items for free. The drop-off location will be at Ralston Intermediate, located at 10851 Lampson Avenue. The event is open to Garden Grove residents only. Proof of residency is required.
Community Cleanup Day
The Garden Grove Sanitary District and Republic Services hosts the Community Cleanup Day program, offering residents the opportunity to dispose of bulky items for free.
Residents may bring unwanted and unused items, such as non-refrigerant appliances, furniture, mattresses, and carpets. Electronic waste, including printers and computers are also accepted. This will be a self-service event in which residents will be unloading their own items on a first-come, first-served basis until bins are full.
Outdoor Movie Series - Grease
The community is invited to the City of Garden Grove’s free Outdoor Movie Series. Spaces will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Event attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. Movie snacks and treats will be available for purchase from local food vendor, C&M Ohana.
