The Garden Grove Strawberry Festival returns during this year’s Memorial Day weekend, May 22, 2026, to May 25, 2026, at Village Green Park, located at 12732 Main Street. Admission to the festival is FREE and open to the public. The annual event will feature a wide variety of activities, live music, contests, vendors, and more!

Flower Street on Historic Main is a free community event that offers an exciting lineup of activities and attractions, featuring flower designs, lion dances, folk games, music, a magic show, and more.

The City of Garden Grove proudly presents the 2nd annual Foods of Garden Grove Live. Enjoy an international selection of the city's most acclaimed and customer-favored food and drink eateries, along with family-friendly activities and live music at the Garden Amp on Historic Main Street. Admission to the event and concert are free with tickets required for food tastings.

The Garden Grove Sanitary District and Republic Services hosts the Community Cleanup Day program, offering residents the opportunity to dispose of bulky items for free.

Residents may bring unwanted and unused items, such as non-refrigerant appliances, furniture, mattresses, and carpets. Electronic waste, including printers and computers are also accepted. This will be a self-service event in which residents will be unloading their own items on a first-come, first-served basis until bins are full.
