The City of Garden Grove is full of fun and exciting things to do and see. We also care about the health of our residents and students. Recently Misha and Nellie, the Garden Grove Police Department's Canine Support Dogs were introduced to a packed house at Mitchell Elementary School. Don't miss this! Plus, the City once again closed streets to cars and held a big party downtown. Residents, businesses and visitors were able to get a glimpse into the future and see how Garden Grove could evolve over time. And, the Strawberry Festival is back!

When disaster strikes, it pays to be prepared! This group of Garden Grove volunteers are training to be there when it counts. They are CERT, the Community Emergency Response Team. In case of an earthquake, fire, flood or some other disastrous event, they're trained to assist police, fire, other first responders and possibly you. GGTV3 Reporter Mark Bedor has the story. And, Garden Grove High School celebrates 100! Yes, 100 years of Argonaut greatness! A group of students and alumni gathered on campus to share in the milestone.

In the City of Garden Grove, holiday magic is all around us. From the Winter in the Grove event that brings snow, Santa and the lighting of the tree, to the H. Louis Lake Senior Center, where Garden Grove seniors pick up some warm and frozen holiday meals. We looked in on some elves wrapping and filling boxes for local families and Santa distributing some early Christmas presents to happy youngsters. We also stopped by Bracken's Kitchen to witness a huge end-of-year push to feed hungry people here and throughout the area.
