No Code, No Confidence is the theme for the 39th annual Building Safety Month event held at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center. Garden Grove's Building and Safety Department conducts free seminars to bring awareness about building safety regulations and reminding about the importance of code enforcement. On a beautiful day in the park he helped create, Jack Wallin's bust was unveiled for all to see. Wallin helped create Atlantis Play Center and led Garden Grove's annual Strawberry Festival for 60 years. GGTV3 Reporter Britt Johnson has the story.

The ground is broken and the "Rusty Skeleton" will become Garden Brook Senior Village. With affordable housing, commercial space, outdoor community areas and plans to partner with the neighboring Boys and Girls Club. The building is expected to look a lot better too.
