Garden Grove teens, ages 13-17, are invited to join the City of Garden Grove’s Teen Action Collaborative (GGTAC), a leadership program empowering teens to become future mentors and leaders in the community. The GGTAC will meet every third Thursday of the month, beginning Thursday, September 15, 2022 through May 18, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Meetings will be held at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue.

With direction from City staff and other local organizations, GGTAC provides teens with the opportunity to serve their community in a leadership capacity; gain volunteer service hours through participation in special events and service projects; create new friendships and mentors; and receive college readiness guidance.

Interested teens are encouraged to attend the kick-off meeting, on Thursday, September 15, to learn about the program, including goals and responsibilities, volunteer opportunities, and more. Pizza and snacks will be provided. Parents are welcome to attend.

All teens in attendance will be entered into an opportunity drawing to win gift cards from local eateries.
