Free Sand Bags for Residents

The Orange County Fire Authority will close public access to countywide facilities through March 20 only.

Residents will continue to have access to sandbags at the following locations:
OCFA Station #82, 11805 Gilbert Street
OCFA Station #83, 12132 Trask Avenue
OCFA Station #84, 12191 Valley View Street


During the rainy season, the City of Garden Grove, in conjunction with Orange County Fire Authority, provides up to 10 free sandbags to residents.

Fire stations provide sand and bags to be filled by the residents. Residents are asked to bring their own shovels. Residents are responsible for transporting as well as disposing of filled sandbags. Proof of residency is required.

Sandbags are provided at the following fire station locations:

OCFA Station #82, 11805 Gilbert Street
OCFA Station #83, 12132 Trask Avenue
OCFA Station #84, 12191 Valley View Street
