The City of Garden Grove is seeking the community’s input in determining how federal funds will be used in housing, community development, and infrastructure projects. An online community needs survey addressing topics such as housing, small business programs, public transit, and quality of life, can now be accessed through the City’s website at ggcity.org/neighborhood-improvement. The survey is available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

The City receives approximately $2.6 million annually from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) programs. The allocations allow the City to provide community resources to address a wide range of unique community development needs, like financial assistance to improve homes and neighborhoods, providing decent housing, and homeless services. Feedback will be used for the City’s 2025 - 2030 Consolidated Plan for future HUD funding.
