Legal Aid Services

The H. Louis Lake Senior Center is offering free legal aid appointments for seniors, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

During these appointments, seniors can receive assistance on a variety of legal issues including but not limited to: elder abuse, landlord/tenant disputes, government benefits, limited conservatorships, etc.

Case Management

The Senior Center's Senior Support Program provides valuable community resources, social support, and counseling services to seniors age 60 and over. If you are in need of support or looking for a friendly person to connect with, you may stop by the center or call (714) 741-5253, and one of our staff members will be happy to speak with you. (Please check the center's current operating hours as they are subject to change.)

Tax Appointments

The H. Louis Lake Senior Center will not be scheduling any tax appointments for the 2024 tax season. For information on where you can go for a free tax filing, you can check the links below.

Transportation

If you are a Garden Grove resident 60 years of age or older you may be eligible to participate in our program. This program provides transportation to the H. Louis Lake Senior Center, medical appointments, and grocery shopping. Services will take you within the Garden Grove city limits and up to 5 miles outside city limits.
