Grab & Go Meals
Every Tuesday through Friday, Garden Grove’s local libraries are providing free summer meals to children and teens, ages 18 and over.
Two Garden Grove library branches are hosting the program:
- Garden Grove Main Library - 11200 Stanford Ave
- Garden Grove Chapman - 9182 Chapman Ave
Registration is not required. Walk-ups are welcome.
Kindergarten Readiness Nutrition Program
Every Wednesday, from June 16 through July 14, Garden Grove's local libraries are offering the Kindergarten Readiness Nutrition Program, a nutrition series promoting healthy eating for kindergartens, ages 4-6. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to attend for a story time activity and weekly recipes.

Senior Protection Program
Local seniors are invited to learn about scam protection and prevention by attending the virtual Senior Protection Program presentation, hosted by the Orange County Council on Aging.

Nutrition Bingo
Local seniors are invited to participate in Nutrition Bingo, an educational and fun game of bingo.

Summer Craft Class
Local seniors are invited to attend an in-person craft class at the H. Louis Lake Senior Center. Space is limited to the first 10 registrations. Material fee is $5.

Technology Smartphone Updates
Local seniors are invited to learn about smartphones and how to best utilize its features. The virtual presentation, provided by Scan Health Plan, is part of the H. Louis Lake Senior Center's "Let's 'Chat' about it Thursdays" virtual workshops.
