The City of Garden Grove wishes everyone a fun, memorable, and safe Fourth of July celebration! If you're planning to enjoy fireworks, please remember that only California State Fire Marshal-approved Safe and Sane fireworks are legal and available for purchase locally.

Illegal and dangerous fireworks put lives, property, and neighborhoods at risk and can result in fines of up to $1,000.

On May 14th, 2026, the Garden Grove Police Department held its annual "Call to Duty" Memorial Service. The special ceremony honored six Garden Grove Police Officers who gave their lives protecting the City.

Once a year, Village Green Park transforms into a winter wonderland for Winter in the Grove, complete with hot cocoa, holiday crafts, festive performances, the iconic tree lighting, and Santa’s grand arrival. Celebrate tradition and community at the 65th Annual Strawberry Festival Parade! This vibrant Labor Day Weekend event is a highlight of the Garden Grove Strawberry Festival, filled with color, music, and hometown spirit.
