An oversized vehicle is ANY of the following:
- Vehicles over 22 feet in length
- Vehicles over 80 inches wide
- RVs of ANY size
- Trailers of ANY size (attached or unattached)

- a. To report non-permitted oversized vehicles to the City, residents may call the Garden Grove Police Department's non-emergency number at (714) 741-5704. We ask that residents please check the active permit list prior to contacting the Garden Grove Police Department.
Yes, all trailers regardless of size require an oversized vehicle permit. Trailers will require a permit whether they are attached or unattached.
Always obtain the permit for the trailer in the event that it becomes detached from the drawing vehicle. Any trailer permit assigned to the drawing vehicle may result in a citation.
