The City of Garden Grove, in partnership with NeighborWorks Orange County, will host Homebuyer Day 2026: Creating Wealth Through Homeownership on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Avenue. Admission and parking are free.

Prospective homebuyers will have the opportunity to connect with mortgage lenders, real estate professionals, and community housing organizations to learn about the home buying process, financing options, and available resources. Attendees can also learn about down payment assistance programs offering up to $110,000 to help make homeownership more attainable.

The City of Garden Grove, along with participating community partners, will provide information about available down payment assistance programs, including eligibility requirements, the application process, and current program updates. Free food and refreshments will also be available during the event.

NeighborWorks Orange County also offers ongoing Homebuyer 101 Workshops that provide prospective homebuyers with information on the purchasing process and local assistance programs.
