Community Encouraged to Attend Study Sessions on Housing Development Standards
The community is encouraged to attend Garden Grove study sessions to learn about the proposed draft Focus Zoning Amendments relating to development standards for single-family residential, multi-family residential, mixed-use, supportive housing, and single room occupancy housing. The Planning Commission Study Session is on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 7:00 p.m., and the Garden Grove City Council Study Session is on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. Both public meetings will be held at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, located at 11300 Stanford Avenue.
The proposed draft Focus Zoning Amendments is available online at www.ggcity.org/planning.
Recent state housing laws ease local government constraints on housing development and the development of affordable housing. The proposed draft Focus Zoning Amendments will ensure the City is in compliance with applicable state housing laws.
