City of Garden Grove to Celebrate Jardin de Los Niños Park Improvements
The City of Garden Grove invites the community to attend a ribbon cutting ceremony marking the completion of improvements to Jardin de los Niños Park, including new playground equipment and a new play surface. The ceremony will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, at the park, 12534 Keel Ave., and will include remarks by Mayor Stephanie Klopfenstein, followed by a ceremonial ribbon cutting.
Designed to provide children and families with an updated place to play and gather, the project is part of the City’s Capital Improvement Plan and supports priorities outlined in the 15-year Parks and Facilities Master Plan.
Jardin de los Ninos Park is the first of three neighborhood park improvement projects scheduled for completion in 2026. The projects are partially funded by a $1 million dollar grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Project Funding program. Improvements at Haster Basin Park and West Haven Park are expected to be completed later this year.
