Local Small Businesses Invited to Upcoming Event on Potential Contracting Opportunities for Civic Center Revitalization Project
The City of Garden Grove, along with project developer Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate and design-builder Clark Construction Group, is hosting a small business outreach event for members of the small and local business community to learn more about contracting opportunities for the Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization Project. The event will be held next Tuesday, March 5 at 2:30 p.m. at the Garden Grove Community Meeting Center, 11300 Stanford Avenue. Please visit www.ggcity.org/civic-center to register.
The project team is seeking small local and minority subcontractors for the following: site services, grading, and excavation; miscellaneous concrete; reinforcing steel; masonry; miscellaneous metals; carpentry; waterproofing and roofing; lockers and accessories; toilet partitions; insulation; acoustic ceilings; framing and drywall; window shades; site utilities; landscaping; site concrete, curbs, and gutters; doors, frames, and hardware; building demolition; and casework and millwork.
The Garden Grove Civic Center Revitalization Project is the development of a new public safety facility for the Garden Grove Police Department, a new parking structure, and a redesigned Civic Center Park.
