Shoppers who spend $50 or more in Garden Grove, from Black Friday, November 29 through Thursday, December 19, can enter a drawing to win a $500 or $250 cash prize, a 1-night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge, or a restaurant gift card, during the City’s end-of-year Black Friday Goes BiGG campaign. The campaign is part of the City’s Buy in Garden Grove (BiGG) shop-local program.

For every $50 in total purchases from businesses in Garden Grove, including restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores, shoppers can receive one raffle ticket toward a cash or prize drawing.

To receive raffle tickets, shoppers must bring their receipts dated between Friday, November 29 and Thursday, December 19 to the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce before 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 19. The Chamber of Commerce is located at 12866 Main Street, Suite 102, near the corner of Acacia Parkway and Main Street. Raffle tickets will not be available at businesses. The first 50 people to turn in their receipts will receive a free City gift.

If purchases were made from a business participating in the Buy in Garden Grove (BiGG) program, listed on the Foods of Garden Grove webpage, or is a Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce member, shoppers will receive an additional raffle ticket.

Visit ggcity.org/bigg, ggcity.org/foodsofgardengrove or gardengrovechamber.com for lists of participating businesses.

On Monday, December 23, the winning names and raffle ticket numbers will be posted on the City’s and Chamber’s websites and social platforms. One winner will receive $500; two winners will receive $250; one winner will receive a 1-night stay at the Great Wolf Lodge; and one winner will receive a $50 gift card to Sabroso! Mexican Grill.

Winners will have 30 days to claim their prize from the Garden Grove Chamber of Commerce. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to win. Only one prize per winner.

For over 10 years, the City has encouraged residents to support local businesses through the BiGG program, which helps keep needed tax dollars in the city for essential resources like public safety, roads, parks, and other quality-of-life needs. Businesses participating in the BiGG program provide benefits to shoppers through discounts, giveaways, and special deals.

There is no charge to become a BiGG business. Businesses can find out more about the program and sign up at ggcity.org/bigg.
