Tết Trung Thu, a.k.a the Mid-Autumn Festival, is traditionally a harvest moon festival celebrated by many Asian cultures. In Vietnam, Tet Trung Thu is the Children’s Festival with many activities centered around children such as lion dance, mooncakes, special treats, and children parading the streets while singing and carrying colorful lanterns of all sizes and shapes in honor of what is believed to be the biggest and brightest full moon of the year.
