A capacity crowd looked on as the Mayor, one reelected Councilmember and two new Councilmembers were sworn in. The City of Garden Grove welcomed Mayor Steve Jones for his fourth term and returning District 1 Councilmember, George Brietigam for his second. New to the Council are District 3 Councilmember Cindy Tran and District 4 Councilmember Joe DoVinh. The evening also featured a Community Spotlight honoring retiring Police Chief Tom DaRe.
