Montellana, Pedro M/H/ 22 years old/ resides in Westminster
NARRATIVE:
On December 8, 2018 at 1:20 AM, an officer from the Garden Grove Police Department drove southbound on Harbor Blvd., when he came across a major traffic collision at the location. The officer stopped to investigate and learned a shooting had taken place. The occupants of both vehicles involved, a red 2007 Ford pickup truck and a white 2014 Hyundai sedan, were detained. The investigation revealed that both vehicles traveled westbound on the 22 freeway when the occupants became involved a road rage incident. During the altercation, both vehicles exited the freeway and drove northbound on Harbor Blvd. The vehicles followed each other and at least one occupant of the Ford pickup truck (Montellano) shot at the occupants of the Hyundai sedan. The firearm was later determined to be BB gun. The altercation ended when the driver of the Hyundai sedan (Batalla-Olmedo) intentionally struck the Ford pickup truck. One passenger was injured during the traffic collision and transported to UCI medical center with non-life threatening injuries. Two suspects were placed under arrest and booked at the Orange County Jail.
