Case Management & Individual and Family Counseling

A case manager is available on site to assist adults and families with concerns regarding anxiety, stress, and child/teen behavior issues. Community resources and referrals are available for families in need of emergency food, clothing, and shelter resources. Call (714) 741-5768 for dates and times and to schedule an appointment.

Health Insurance Application Assistance

A representative is available on site offering application assistance for Health and Social Services programs for low income families including Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, CaliforniaKids, and Kaiser Permanente Child Health Plan. Other application assistance services include CalFresh (food stamps) and CalWorks (cash aid). Call (714) 741-5768 to schedule an appointment at the Buena Clinton Youth and Family Center.

Parenting Class

Participants will learn how to reduce common behavior problems, use positive discipline techniques, build strong and healthy relationships, reduce parenting stress and more. For more information and to register call (714) 741-5768. Limited spaces available.

Team of Advocates for Special Kids (TASK)

Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) consultations are designated for families who need assistance with IEP meetings and understanding basic rights. IEP consultations are by appointment only. They are conducted in English or Spanish. Parents are requested to bring in all of their child's educational records for review by trained staff members with experience in attending IEP meetings and understanding of the laws serving individuals with special needs.
