The Bicycle Corridor Improvement Project (BCIP) is in its final stages. However, there were unanticipated delays due to cars parked in "No Parking" work areas, which prevented the contractor from completing the work and resulted in gaps in the bicycle lane.

Construction is scheduled for completion next Wednesday, January 10, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and “No Parking” signs will be re-posted with the upcoming construction times. We ask for your cooperation in complying with the no-parking schedule so construction on Lampson Ave can be completed.

Below is a summary of the locations where construction will take place.

Dale St to Magnolia St

1) Lorna St (Northside)

Brookhurst St to Nutwood St

2) Between Brookhurst St and Fletcher Dr (Southside)

3) Morrie Ln (Southside)

4) Between Kensington Ln and Nutwood St (Southside)

Euclid St to 9th St

5) Between Pine St and Elmwood St (Northside)

6) Between Dessa Dr and 9th St (Northside)

7) Between Strathmore Dr and Woodland Ln (Northside)

Harbor Blvd to Haster St

8) Between Sungrove Cir and Firebrand St (Northside)

Please note: any vehicles that are parked during the construction hours are subject to removal and will be towed. The contractor will stripe the bike lanes on one side of Lampson Ave at a time, with the opposite side available for parking during construction work hours.
