Swim Lessons- Gary Hall- Spring 1- (1P) Starfish
The class is for new swimmers 3-5 years of age. the Starfish class introduces swimming and water safety to children with little or no previous swimming experience who are comfortable in the water without parental assistance or flotation devices. IF YOUR DESIRED CLASS IS FULL PLEASE CALL 714-741-5200 TO GO ON THE WAITLIST. Should a participant wish to cancel or change a class after the registration process, there will be a $5 processing fee per class. Swim Lessons- Gary Hall- Spring 1- (2P) Tadpole
For children 3-5 years of age who have passed the Starfish level (PL1) and are totally comfortable in the water and ready to begin swimming independently. Tadpoles can completely submerge their heads and faces in the water and can float on front and back with minimal support. Tadpoles can also swim three feet unassisted. Swim Lessons- Gary Hall- Spring 1- (L1) Guppy
This class is for new swimmers ages 6-15. Guppy class introduces swimming and water safety to children with little or no previous swimming experience. This level helps children build confidence, swim on front and back short distances by themselves, and develop safety skills in and around the water. IF YOUR DESIRED CLASS IS FULL PLEASE CALL 714-741-5200 TO GO ON THE WAITLIST. Should a participant wish to cancel or change a class after the registration process, there will be a $5 processing fee per class. For children 6-15 who have PASSED the Guppy Level or for children who can swim more than 10 feet by themselves on their front and back. New skills include side breathing, treading water, and water safety skills. IF YOUR DESIRED CLASS IS FULL PLEASE CALL 714-741-5200 TO GO ON THE WAITLIST. Swim Lessons- Gary Hall- Spring 1- (L3) Dolphin
For children 6-15 who have PASSED the Seal level. Children in Dolphin are able to swim 10 yards (30ft) completely unassisted in front and backstroke, jump into deep water, and tread water for short periods. New skills include introduction and development of elementary backstroke and breaststroke, dolphin, and sidestroke kicks. Dolphins also work on refining side breathing. Swim Lessons- Gary Hall- Spring 1- (L4) Barracuda
For children 7-15 who have PASSED the Dolphin level. Barracudas are able to swim 15 yards (45ft) completely unassisted in freestyle and backstroke, and 5 yards of breaststroke and dolphin kick. Barracudas can also tread independently. New skills include learning breaststroke and butterfly strokes, and learning flip turns and open turns. Barracudas also focus on increasing swim stamina . Individual instruction for all ages is available in a series of eight (8) lessons, 40 minutes in length. IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REGISTER FOR A SEMI-PRIVATE: 1) Choose only one student to enroll in a private lesson. 2) Contact a pool manager to add remaining students.
