Our team in Hazen and Sawyer has a project with City of Garden Grove in response to a Task Order titled “Professional Services to Conduct Research and Prepare a Report on the Historical Use of Lead Service Lines as well as Develop a Predictive Modeling Tool to Determine Composition of Customer-Owned Service Lines in the City of Garden Grove, as required by the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions”. This effort focuses on meeting the USEPA’s requirements for an inventory of all customer-side service line materials.
To determine the effective year of a lead ban for the City, we would like to review the Garden Grove City Plumbing Code with a focus on Codes prior to 1988. Our team is open to stopping by to review Codes, if needed. We certainly appreciate any information, as available, on this and can support in whatever way works best. Please let us know the best next steps.

The requested records are available to view in person at Garden Grove City Hall at 11222 Acacia Parkway. The Building Division is located on the 1st Floor. Office hours are Mon-Thurs, 7:30am-5:30pm, and alternating Fridays 7:30am-5:00pm (we are open Friday 11/10).
