Records Description
1. Request for proposals and/or requests for bids for external audit services for the annual comprehensive financial report (ACFR) during the past 7 years.
2. Copies of all proposals and bids received for the request for proposals and/or bids for external audit services for the ACFR during the past 7 years, including proposals received from firms that were not selected
3. Records documenting the government’s evaluation of the proposals described above including scoring and comparisons of the proposals.
4. Documents supporting the government’s recommendation for the selection of the external auditor and the government’s decision for external auditor selection
5. Fees paid to the external auditor by the nature of the service provided for each of the past 7 years
6. Documents, if any, the external auditor for the ACFR provided to the city regarding its use of subcontractors for the ACFR audit.

I understand that the document retention period may vary with the type of record. My understanding is that the record retention period for most of these documents is seven years, therefore I am requesting documents from the prior seven years.

This request is being made for educational purposes and not for commercial use. Therefore, I am requesting a waiver of all fees. However, if you are unable to grant a fee waiver, please provide an invoice for the fees before you fulfill the request.
