Dear Custodian of Records,

Under the California Public Records Act, I am requesting a copy of any record relating to current training and procedures for field testing of suspected narcotics using color-based tests such as NIK tests or NARK tests. If your officers just follow the instructions provided with these test kits, please provide a copy of these instructions.

If you expect a delay in responding to this request beyond 10 days, please let me know when I might expect to receive copies of the requested records.
