The location at Nelson/Standford security lighting request any bids to repair any memos from 01-01-2020 to present.

OBJECTIVE

To provide the City Council with a presentation and final draft of the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Master Plan.

BACKGROUND

In 2018, the Community Services Department contracted Richard Fisher Associates (RFA) to develop a 15-year Parks, Recreation and Facilities Master Plan that would help guide the City in the planning, maintenance, and development and/or rehabilitation of Garden Grove parks and recreation facilities.
DISCUSSION

The Community Services Department and consultant, RFA, have completed the final draft of a 15-year Parks, Recreation and Facilities Master Plan, which is available for review in the Community Services Department. The consultant, RFA, has prepared a presentation to review key findings and recommendations of the Master Plan.

The Parks, Recreation and Arts Commission reviewed the draft Master Plan at their meeting on October 2, 2019, and recommended transmittal to the City Council by a 5-2 vote with Commissioners No and Ramirez absent.

FINANCIAL IMPACT

The Master Plan provides estimated costs for recommended improvements at city parks and facilities. These recommendations have no impact on the city's current General Fund budget.
RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the City Council:

Consider the final draft of the Parks, Recreation and Facilities Master Plan for approval.

Request for Public Records – City of Garden Grove Notice of Extension

The City of Garden Grove has received your records request dated March 29, 2021, Request #6739. The City’s intent is to comply with your request for public records, pursuant to the California Public Records Act (the “Act”) (Government Code §6250 et seq.).

The City is in the process of evaluating this request and is compiling records in an effort to make a determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable public records in the possession of the City of Garden Grove. However, notice is hereby given that the time limit to make this initial determination under the code shall be extended by fourteen (14) days to April 22, 2021, pursuant to Government Code §6253, for the following reason:

(a) The extension of time is reasonable and necessary for the proper processing of the request.

As noted above, the City’s written determination as to whether the request seeks copies of disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records in the possession of the agency shall be sent to you on or about April 22, 2021. Pursuant to the Act, thereafter any and all disclosable, non-exempt and non-privileged public records that are deemed responsive to your request will be made promptly available to you.
